As Assistant Race Director for the Utah Valley Marathon, I helped lead the planning and execution of the largest race in the event's history. Working alongside the leadership team, I assisted in coordinating race operations, permitting, sponsorships, marketing campaigns, website updates, volunteer management, and countless behind the scenes logistics required to deliver a world class event.

On race weekend, I helped oversee more than 200 volunteers while supporting operations for 7,500+ runners, 50+ sponsors and vendors, and 20,000+ spectators. Despite challenges including construction, course changes, extreme heat, and last minute logistical obstacles, our team successfully delivered the most attended and successful Utah Valley Marathon to date. The experience reinforced my passion for creating memorable events and demonstrated the value of preparation, adaptability, and collaboration in delivering exceptional participant experiences.
