I really enjoyed my time with Angel Studios. When I was thinking of a marketing campaign I was most proud of during my time there, one asset stuck out to me. We had a show called “Homestead”, it was linked to a film Angel released a year before.

We had only released two episodes after the movie came out and we wanted to come up with a fun way to let people know more episodes were releasing while also playing on the fact that it took a bit of time for them to come out.

We called the campaign “baby come back”. I worked with the creative director on the project to make sure we had everything we needed to make it happen. It was a unique process because typically our assets are from films or shows that have already been produced. For this asset, we had to create a script that encapsulated everything we wanted the video to portray. From the filming of the ad, to the editing, to the quality checking, it was a lot of fun.

It ended up being one of our highest performing ads as far as customer acquisition for the streaming service. It influenced a couple more ads we made for other shows because of how much Angel customers reacted to it.
